It's my pleasure to announce that Spring IO Platform Cairo-RELEASE is now available from the Spring release repository and Maven Central. The Cairo generation of the Platform builds on top of Spring Framework 5.0 and Spring Boot 2.0 and requires Java 8.

CVE-2018-1270 was reported last week, and unfortunately, was not fully addressed in the 4.3.x branch of the Spring Framework.

A follow-up 4.3.16 version was created and released to Maven Central, and a new CVE-2018-1275 report was published. Please upgrade to 4.3.16 immediately!

Spring Boot 1.5.x Instructions: if impacted by this issue, please upgrade to Spring Boot 1.5.12.

I am pleased to announce that Spring IO Platform Brussels-SR8 is now available from both repo.spring.io and Maven Central.

Hot on the heels of Spring Boot 1.5.11, Spring Boot 2.0.1 is now available from repo.spring.io and Maven Central.

The first maintenance release of Spring Boot 2 includes over 160 fixes, improvements and dependency updates. Thanks to all that have contributed with issue reports and pull requests.
